Everest Hockey Group – Custom Hockey Registration System Built on WordPress + WooCommerce
MotoCoders built a fully custom Hockey Registration System for Everest Hockey Group to support online registrations, player profiles, camp attendance tracking, and streamlined financial reporting. Before this, Everest tried to run their programs using Shopify, but it lacked the structure required to collect detailed player information and manage multi-player family registrations properly—resulting in missing data and extra administrative work.
Why Everest Needed a Better Hockey Registration System Than Shopify
Everest Hockey Group offers structured development programs, on-ice sessions, and hockey camps—so they required a system that could handle much more than basic eCommerce. While Shopify is strong for simple product purchases, it struggled with collecting the full set of registration details required for youth sports programs. The result was incomplete registrations, missing player data, and staff needing to manually correct records after the fact.
Hockey Registration System Built Using WordPress + WooCommerce
To solve this, MotoCoders developed a custom Hockey Registration System using WordPress and WooCommerce. WooCommerce powers the eCommerce side of the platform, including checkout, secure payment processing, order confirmation, and product management. WordPress provides the flexibility to create custom program pages, landing pages, and content that can grow with Everest’s expanding training offerings.
Custom Player Profiles Connected to Parent Accounts
A major feature of this project is a custom-coded Player Profile system that tracks players in Everest’s internal database. When a parent creates an account, they can register one or more athletes, manage their player profiles, and ensure the correct player is tied to the correct session or camp registration. This eliminates duplicate entries, reduces errors, and ensures Everest always has accurate player information on file.
Camp Registration and Attendance Tracking for Coaches
This platform makes it easy for Everest staff to manage who is attending each session or hockey camp. Coaches and on-ice instructors can download attendance spreadsheets before each ice time, ensuring they have accurate rosters and player information available when running drills, group assignments, and check-ins.
Monthly Payment Options Added to the Hockey Registration System
To improve accessibility for families and increase sign-ups, we built the ability for parents to spread payments over multiple months instead of paying one large amount upfront. This monthly installment option supports better affordability, improves registration conversions, and gives Everest Hockey Group a more predictable revenue schedule throughout the season.
Clear Financial Reporting and Revenue Tracking
This Hockey Registration System also supports Everest’s back-office reporting needs. Their financial team can pull accurate revenue data from their credit card reporting tools, with transactions clearly showing the product, program, and revenue stream generated. This helps Everest reconcile payments faster, track program performance, and maintain clear visibility into camp and session sales.
